In this short video/blog, we’ll examine the different elements present in a storyboard.

You can either read the blog below or see the short 60-seconds video.

We will refer to a sample storyboard shown here. You can use tools like MS Word or PowerPoint to create your storyboard. Typically, the Course Title is written at the start of the mockup. The Module Title section is present if your course has multiple modules. Now, let’s see the details you should add for each screen in a storyboard. Each screen should have a Screen Title. Next, write the On-Screen Text or OST that you plan to include on the screen. After this, either add a description for the visual strategy. Make sure the instructions are very clear in this space as this will ensure the Graphic Design team makes technically accurate designs. Write a Narration that the voice-over artist will use to record for each screen. This is optional and required only if your screen has a voice-over. Finally, if a developer with packages your course in an authoring tool, Write detailed instructions for them.
