Instructional Design is the art of creating effective and engaging learning experiences for a learner. However, designing and developing such training courses for diverse group of people is the biggest challenge for an Instructional Designer (ID) or a Course Developer. This is because typically an ID is aware of the Instructional Design theories, but they require the practical experience of applying these theories and best practices while developing a course. They also face various challenges like, conducting effective SME interviews, developing interactive and engaging courses, planning and chunking content efficiently, managing projects successfully, or evaluating a course or learner’s performance accurately, etc.
